Jamison McDermott is an ambitious storyteller both behind and in front of the camera. She graduated a year early in the top 2% of her college at The University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Since then, she has worked at some of the biggest companies in the entertainment including NBC, Universal Pictures, Leo Burnett Worldwide, and more.

In 2017, Jamison decided to branch out on her own and incorporate 715 Productions. At 715, she has had the opportunity to direct, produce, and edit music videos that have played in regular rotation on MTV, create big brand fashion films, shoot commercials for national TV spots, and more. She has also made time to create meaningful films on various topics like sexual assault and mental abuse.

In addition to her behind the camera skills, Jamison is represented in the TV/Film/Commercial & Print departments at Stewart Talent. She has worked many hours on big sets including “Chicago PD” from seasons 3-6. Through City Lights Entertainment, she leads on screen conversations in hosting & entertainment reporting roles.

Back in July, Jamison was chosen as 1 of 16 students worldwide to be admitted into the highly competitive Professional On-Camera Acting Program within the Film school at UCLA. Jamison is a passionate and driven creative working in the Chicago and LA entertainment scenes.
